It all started over a glass of wine (Elyse Petite Syrah to be exact) with a friend who had recently purchased a restaurant. He had managed several large chain restaurants so he definitely had the experience and knowledge to take on his own establishment. He began telling me about his expenses and in the restaurant business there are many. However he seemed quite perplexed about the solid waste disposal expense. It was quite high for his one 4 yard dumpster and worse yet is was under contract with the hauler for another 2 years since he inherited the contract from the previous owner. He was a sole proprietor and didn't have the time to delve into the problem. It seemed like a hopeless situation so wanting to help a friend out I did some research and out of that was born Florida Waste Solutions. I saved my friend a bunch of money and the next time the wine was on me since he became my first client.
